TECSYS Inc., an industry-leading ERP software company, announced today that SLGA (Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority) has selected TECSYS’ warehouse and distribution management software solutions to upgrade SLGA’s technology platform enabling the organization to pursue its goals of growth, efficiency and improved management of their supply chain.

SLGA operates 79 liquor stores and a Special Order Service throughout Saskatchewan that allows customers to obtain beverage alcohol products not available through SLGA stores. The organization also has contracts with approximately 188 rural businesses to sell beverage alcohol on its behalf, and more than 440 private off-sale outlets throughout Saskatchewan that purchase wine and spirit products through SLGA.

To upgrade its distribution management system, SLGA conducted a rigorous and extensive RFP process to source the best ERP solution aligned with the long-term strategic needs of the organization. In the end, SLGA opted for TECSYS; a decision that represents a balanced function, fit, user friendliness, ongoing support and overall cost of ownership. SLGA were particularly impressed by TECSYS’ team of professionals for their experience and expertise.

TECSYS’ fully integrated ERP system will upgrades SLGA’s legacy technology and will enhance SLGA’s capabilities in several key areas; most notably integrated visibility enterprise-wide, improved business intelligence, demand planning and efficient processes that will enable SLGA to reach its business goals.

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation responsible for the distribution, control and regulation of liquor and most gaming across the province.
