SAP NEWSBYTE – October 06, 2010 – To meet with the increasing global demand among the SAP user base for further training and certification courses, SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced the launch of the SAP Training and Certification shop at http://training.sap.com. The e-commerce site offers users a central source for all the official training courses across the globe, also offering users a place to monitor their individual progress across a number of certificates and qualifications online. The site informs users of on-site classroom and online e-learning courses offered by SAP, enabling them to plan and book their training programs easily and securely.

The user-friendly search function automatically suggests users relevant and related courses and certificates as they type their search queries. In the search results, users are offered a wealth of relevant and constructive information alongside key details such as course locations, dates and prices, enabling them to thoroughly inform themselves before proceeding with a booking. Users simply register on the site to create an account that is usable across the entire education portfolio, allowing individuals or teams to map out their training and certification road maps in the most productive and cost-effective ways. Users can even now associate and store their S-user number (an SAP account identifier) with their online profile to accelerate back-end booking procedures.

The SAP® Education organization will host interactive stations at SAP® TechEd 2010 in both Berlin and Las Vegas, where individuals can explore the SAP Training and Certification shop in greater detail.
