Fort Worth, TX — Tuesday, January 26, 2010: ECi Software Solutions (ECi), a leader in industry-specific information technology solutions, announced today that the server refresh project for the Britannia ASP product line is complete.
Providing customers faster item searches and ordering, the environment refresh will further enhance the ease of use of Britannia products for independent dealers and their customers. It was timed with the launch of Britannia Version 5 to provide the latest hardware technology for the new flagship product. ECi invested over $1 million in the project, which spanned 9 months.

Anshul Choudhry, Britannia’s General Manager, recapped the project’s success, “The new equipment will provide continued performance and enhanced high availability to take our products well into the new decade.”
The effort, begun in April of 2009, involved the hardware replacement for over 300 servers. Britannia Version 4, BritLink and all other hosted application servers have been refreshed as well.
