Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, today announced that BlackHawkIndustrialDistribution Inc. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, has selected the Epicor Prophet 21 wholesale distribution ERP solution to increase business efficiency and streamline processes for overall performance.

BlackHawkIndustrial is a recently formed industrial distributor that is rapidly growing in the industrial marketplace. The company is currently implementing a very active buy-and-build strategy in the highly fragmented, $400 billion industrial distribution industry. In the past two years, BlackHawk has jumped to #33 on Industrial Distribution magazine’s “Big 50 List.” To date, BlackHawk has acquired eight industrial distributors (including Duncan Industrial, Tool Service, Kendeco and several others that are currently Epicor customers), and has been actively involved in leading industry organizations such as Affiliated Distributors (AD) and Industrial Supply Association (ISA).

The Epicor ERP solution will provide BlackHawkIndustrial with a scalable business management system for 420 users initially, incorporating a Microsoft Windows-based platform and SQL Server database to improve warehouse, order and inventory management; purchasing automation; financial management; and reporting and business intelligence analysis.
