A Painless Implementation Process Connects Aircom Manufacturing, Inc. With its subsidiary, Medivative Technologies, LLC for One Centralized Database
IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software and MES developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, today announced that contract manufacturing and product development company, Aircom Manufacturing, Inc., has gone live with EnterpriseIQ. Aircom Manufacturing’s subsidiary, Medivative Technologies, LLC, experienced great success after going live with IQMS’ manufacturing ERP software a year prior, prompting Aircom to follow suit.
“Aircom Manufacturing was looking for a manufacturing ERP system that would have advanced scheduling and capacity planning tools, allow for better visibility and integration between our multiple businesses and deliver detailed reports of our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to serve our customers better,” said Bjoern Gottschild, vice president of information technologies for Aircom Manufacturing.
EnterpriseIQ is an extended ERP software system, so immediately after go live, the first major advantage Aircom realized was the complete integration of every module it needed, both internally at Aircom and between Aircom and Medivative. This comprehensive benefit is a major advantage and created a visible workload reduction in Aircom’s affected departments. For example, EnterpriseIQ has delivered:
• A centralized database: IQMS allowed Aircom to move away from a multiple paper system into one electronic, centralized database with advanced tracking features.
• Streamlined processes: In the Purchasing department, Aircom was able to cut out multiple steps in the departmental processes that led to a decreased workload and better efficiency.
• A single accounting database: With both companies on the same database, Aircom’s accounting department can now fulfill its functions, run reports and make improvements for both companies, combined or an on individual basis, with ease.
• Tighter inventory control: Aircom has realized greater inventory control from the system’s ease of use, shop floor inventory reporting features and other tools required for tight inventory control.
“Aircom Manufacturing’s success story is one that we are proud to celebrate,” said Glenn Nowak, vice president at IQMS. “When a subsidiary is so successful that the corporate headquarters takes notice and desires the same savings and benefits – so they invest and install – that is a great moment for IQMS. We look forward to a long and successful relationship with both Aircom Manufacturing and Medivative Technologies.”
