Infor Human Capital Management Solutions Better Link People to Processes to Sustain High Levels of Clinical Quality and Employee Satisfaction
Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced that Sanford Health, the largest rural, not-for-profit health care system in the nation with locations in 126 communities across nine states, will implement a suite of Infor Human Capital Management (HCM)applications to streamline and modernize functions across its network of more than 26,000 employees. HCM Applications tailored specifically for healthcare organizations, including Infor Talent Management and Infor Human Resource Management, will provide a unified solution that encompasses every aspect of the talent lifecycle. The unified HR solutions will help Sanford Health keep its critical workforce engaged and motivated, while supporting the organization’s vision of improving human condition through exceptional care, innovation and discovery.
Sanford Health previously utilized Infor Infinium, a mainframe-based human resources, payroll and self-service application and decided to stay with Infor and migrate to Infor Human Resources Management and Talent Management. The modern technology and robust, healthcare-specific functionality of the HCM solution is expected to help Sanford Health meet its strategic goals and simplify the conversion process.
“With the Infor HCM solution Sanford will consolidate onto one platform for its human capital needs. We believe this will enable our many hospital and clinic locations to be more efficient,” said Arlyn Broekhuis, CIO, Sanford Health. “We are a large organization, with locations in nine states, and we expect this integrated HR/Payroll system will help us lay a foundation to achieve our organizational goals.”
Infor Human Resource Management allows for healthcare organizations to enhance retention and increase visibility into employee management through its unified platform. Infor Talent Management provides tools for talent acquisition, performance management, compensation management, goal management, learning and development and succession management – helping to identify top candidates, enable more strategic hiring and create development opportunities for top performers. The system will also help with compliance, delivering flexibility in the assignment of requirements and the ability to track and ensure compliance. Such functionality can be delivered outside the four walls of the healthcare system, is accessible via any device, and is integrated with performance management and development planning.
The Infor HCM solution also has the capability to integrate into Sanford Health’s existing enterprise financial solution, Infor Lawson Enterprise Financial Management, allowing the organization to have visibility into maintaining competitive pay levels while managing payroll costs and total compensation, including pay-for-performance, compensation planning and awards.
“Infor HCM ensures that organizations can survive and succeed in an era of healthcare reform by helping attract and retain key talent, reduce turnover costs, develop employees to improve patient outcomes, align and measure to drive organizational performance, onboard effectively to speed productivity, and ultimately transform HR to improve services & engagement,” said Mike Poling, vice president, Healthcare, Infor. “Infor Healthcare offers industry specialized applications that provide one source of truth, with cloud flexibility, anytime, anywhere access, a beautiful user interface and healthcare-specific analytics. The reason so many institutions choose Infor HCM as their enterprise platform is because our innovative system has the capabilities to unify processes across the employee lifecycle while seamlessly integrating with the core enterprise financial management and payroll solutions.”
