Melbourne, September 2009 – Pronto Software, an Australian developer of enterprise software solutions, is ramping up operations in North America with the signing of three new value-added resellers – XONITEK Corporation, Business Computer Technologies, Inc. (BCT) and SHS.
Pronto Software has also appointed Terry Leister as Vice President North America to spearhead the company’s expansion into this new market. Leister will drive the development and management of a reseller channel in North America to strategically grow Pronto Software’s global operations.
According to Pronto Software Managing Director David Jackman, securing partnerships in the lucrative North American market opens up exponential growth opportunities and is testament to the ability of Australian enterprise software vendors to effectively compete in the world’s biggest market.
“This is a strategic objective of ours as we recognised that to grow our global presence we needed to enhance our international partner channel,” said Jackman. “It’s a major step in our growth strategy, and we now have the foundation of a partner network in the US and Canada to achieve significant market coverage, and we are very excited to have Terry lead this key initiative.”
“Over the last two years we’ve learned a lot about where our relative strengths and practical innovation value proposition fit within the North American marketplace,” said Terry Leister, Vice President, Pronto Software North America. “These partnerships with leading mid-market resellers validates the value our flagship solution, PRONTO-Xi, brings to businesses in North America.”
“We were impressed with all three partners for a number of reasons,” said Jackman. “All have established customer bases, a proven ability to sell, implement and support ERP systems, a marketing and sales-focused culture, and a keen desire to broaden their solution set and target a wider spectrum of customers in industries with distribution and service requirements.”
XONITEK Corporation is a leading management and technologies consulting firm specialising in leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies. With offices in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Peterborough, England, XONITEK has more than 200 customers in the manufacturing industry.
XONITEK President Joseph Parris said, “The feature set within PRONTO-Xi gives us a very competitive starting point and we’re confident it will help further differentiate ourselves in a crowded marketplace.”
BCT is a provider of CRM/ERP solutions, specialising in the manufacturing and distribution markets. With service centres in Illinois, Missouri, Ohio and California, it offers its customers deployment/support coverage throughout North America and also recently expanded into Mexico and China.
“What impresses about PRONTO-Xi is the vast array of features and capabilities that are available with the core product, where most other ERP solutions must rely upon third party solutions to complete their product offering, It offers a strong value proposition of an easy to use, quick to implement and cost effective solution to the market,” said Pat Reiser, Chief Executive Officer, BCT.
Based in Montreal, SHS specialises in ERP systems implementations and maintenance management for manufacturing sector SMEs.
SHS President, Stéphane Galarneau, said: “We felt that the Pronto team really wanted to make a difference to the market by their can do attitude, flexible approach and a genuine desire to develop a profitable long term relationship, We are also looking forward to working closely with Pronto to develop a localised French version of PRONTO-Xi.”
