Plex Systems Inc., provider of Plex Online, cloud ERP for manufacturers, today announced that it has been named a finalist in three categories of the Software & Information Industry Association’s 27thannual CODiE Awards. Winners will be announced May 10 during the All About the Cloud Conference at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, Calif., where Plex Systems CEO Mark Symonds will co-present “Customer Satisfaction: Trust and Transparency in the Cloud” from 12:05-12:50 p.m. on May 10.

Plex Online has been nominated for Best Supply Chain Management System, which recognizes the best solution in the movement and storage of materials and equipment from point of origin to point of consumption; Best Business or Competitive Intelligence Solution, which best facilitates analysis of data, research and/or competitive information to enable business managers to make strategic decisions; and Best Document Management Solution, which recognizes the best software solution for managing the document life cycle.

“The CODiE Awards have long been revered as a significant stamp of excellence from the software industry,” said Symonds. “We are proud of the many benefits our customers gain from Plex Online’s rich feature set, and it’s quite an honor to be considered by our peers as one of the best solution providers. We congratulate all of the companies named as finalists for these prestigious awards.”

The CODiE Awards are presented by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) and hold the distinction of being the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program. Established in 1986 so that pioneers of the then-nascent software industry could evaluate and honor each other’s work, the CODiE Awards have carried out the same purpose ever since: to showcase the software and information industry’s finest products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement.
