TORONTO – March 09, 2010 – SAP Canada Inc., a subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), today announced that Dynamic Paint Products Inc., Canada’s largest specialty manufacturer and distributor of Paintware®, has selected the SAP Business All-in-One solution to enable the company’s continued growth and expansion into international markets. By leveraging proven industry best practices built-in to the SAP solution, Dynamic Paints Products expects to gain seamless, end-to-end integration for all systems.

Dynamic handles its business functions end-to-end, including order management, distribution, customer service and quality assurance. In addition, the company operates a fully-managed warehouse, a cross-Canada sales force and manufacturing sites in Mississauga and China. To meet the demands of a competitive market and an aggressive growth trajectory, Dynamic identified the need to replace its legacy systems, which lacked core functionality, with comprehensive and flexible business management software from SAP.

“We are a midsize company with large enterprise business requirements,” said David Moon, IT manager, Dynamic Paint Products Inc. “There are a lot of moving parts involved in our operation, and we are dealing with top-tier customers, suppliers and competitors. The SAP offering will help us streamline our processes and enable us to focus exclusively on delivering value to our customers, and growing our business.”

Dynamic is leveraging an SAP Business All-in-One fast-start program implementation delivered by Toronto-based CONTAX Inc. The SAP Business All-in-One fast-start program targets midsize companies and provides them with SAP Business All-in-One solutions that have pre-configured and pre-tested industry-specific processes. The program simplifies the buying cycle and makes implementations faster and more predictable by allowing prospects – jointly with partners – to explore, demo, evaluate and implement solutions configured to costumers’ business needs.

“Dynamic needed to establish a platform that could provide full visibility into the operation while addressing industry-specific requirements,” said Michael Pearson, president, CONTAX Inc. “The SAP offering is built on preconfigured out-of-the box content that leverages best practices used by leading firms in the manufacturing and distribution industry. This will help reduce implementation time, increase the speed of user adoption and enable Dynamic to gain a faster return on investment.”

Already a heavy user of business intelligence software, Dynamic will be deploying optimized, innovative business intelligence functionality from the SAP BusinessObjects™ portfolio to gain enhanced reporting and forecasting functionality.

“Our small and midsize customers in Canada are looking for innovative, scalable solutions that will enable to them to achieve their growth targets,” said Conrad Mandala, vice-president, SME, SAP Canada Inc. “SAP Business All-in-One allows customers to start with what they need now, and adapt and scale as their needs change. We look forward to working with the Dynamic team on developing a successful, long-term IT strategy and continuing to grow their business.”
