IFS North America Senior Advisor Bill Leedale has been recognized by the Pros to Know Awards for his efforts in leadership positions in APICS and his work with users of the IFS Applications enterprise software suite.
In his role with IFS North America, Leedale is responsible for knowledge transfer in North America for the manufacturing product suite within IFS Applications. He has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing arena from leading large-scale implementation projects to managing business process reengineering engagements for global companies. Leedale holds a B.A. in Business and Economics from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and an M.B.A. from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He is an author of the current APICS body of knowledge and a contributor to APICS’ current Lean Enterprise Workshop. His certifications include Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM), and Certification in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM).
He is also a prolific educator and advocate for advanced supply chain management practices, and has spoken and written widely on topics ranging from corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ISO 26000 to Constraint Based Scheduling.
The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives in manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises who are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate. This year’s list also includes the 2012 Provider Pros to Know —individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who have helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large, prepare to meet these challenges.
“Bill Leedale certainly has encyclopedic knowledge of how to implement lean manufacturing and supply chain processes,” IFS North America Vice President of Services Dean Flitter said. “Not only that, he is enthusiastic about sharing that knowledge and using it to help people implement best practices in their businesses so they can become truly world class. Bill is an exceptional person, but he is indicative of the type and quality of people that IFS makes available to companies running its software, IFS Applications.”
