EnerGov to increase data access and improve business processes and staff communications
Tyler Technologies, Inc. has signed a three-year software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreement with the Government of Bermuda Department of Planning for Tyler’s EnerGov™ planning, regulatory and maintenance solution. The agreement includes software licenses, hosting services, project management, training and related professional services.
Following a competitive evaluation, Bermuda leaders identified EnerGov as the superior solution to improve productivity, increase efficiency and enhance customer service across the enterprise.
Bermuda chose several EnerGov applications, including permitting and land management, license and regulatory management, electronic plan review, GIS, and a comprehensive mobile workforce platform. As a modern platform with electronic plan review, EnerGov will provide enterprise wide workflow and increased visibility across ministries and departments to improve staff communication and collaboration.
EnerGov’s mobile capabilities will provide staff with real-time data access in the field while EnerGov’s online self-service component will expand government access for residents and businesses. Government leaders chose to have EnerGov delivered via a software-as-a-service (SaaS) arrangement to leverage the significant investments Tyler has made in its technology infrastructure.
