Endoscopy Development Company Tires of Slow Internet-Based Software and Selects a Total ERP Package from IQMS
IQMS, a leader in the design and development of manufacturing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, today announced it has been selected by global medical manufacturer, Endoscopy Development Company (EDC). The world’s first precision manufacturer of endoscopy replacement parts, EDC desired a system that could support its future growth and excel in a stringent medical quality control environment. EDC also evaluated Epicor, NetSuite and Plex before selecting IQMS’ total manufacturing ERP and MES on premise solution.
EDC realized that its legacy software was inadequate for its current needs and future growth plans. Additionally, the speed of processing data was very slow through the cloud, technical support was lacking and the software design was poorly thought out.
“IQMS’ software package, EnterpriseIQ, offers many well thought out features and modules that can be added as needed,” said Todd Henry, Operations Manager at EDC. “All of IQMS’ representatives were competent, professional, patient and refrained from high-pressure sales tactics.”
With 1.7 million replacement parts on hand at any given time, inventory control was a key consideration for EDC. EnterpriseIQ’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) will help EDC keep an accurate tab on its wide range of repair components every step of the way. Understanding the extreme importance of customer relationships, EDC will also depend on EnterpriseIQ’s reliable shipping tools to ensure that the correct parts go out on time, every time.
“Like many of IQMS’ clients, EDC solves a unique problem in its field,” said Glenn Nowak, vice president at IQMS. “We are pleased to be able to help EDC with their vision to become the only supplier of high quality endoscopy replacement parts for the medical industry.”
