Latest version of Deltek Acumen offers unmatched insight into project achievability, driving consistent project success

The new features and integrations deliver unmatched visibility into project achievability, enabling consistent and profitable project success.
The Deltek Acumen product suite offers a five-stage approach to improving project maturity, and in turn, project completion success. Acumen 6.0’s added integration with key scheduling platforms, new and enhanced features, and seamless sync with Deltek RiskBook risk registers help companies achieve project success faster and with more consistency.
The newest version of Acumen delivers:
- New Analytical Features: With Acumen 6.0 users can now pinpoint the areas of the project that are most crucial to on-time execution using the Logic Trace capability and identify where to focus mitigation energy and efforts through the Critical Schedule Drivers report. Both features help to enhance insight into issues that could derail the project and enable a proactive approach to correcting or avoiding these issues.
- Enhancements for Short-Term, High-Stakes Projects: Acumen 6.0 adds functionality that is critical for managing short-term, high-stakes projects such as shutdown/turnaround projects common in the oil and gas industry. Users can add duration uncertainties, risk impacts, and risk event mappings in hours, rather than days, to better accommodate short or accelerated project timelines.
- Seamless Sync with Deltek RiskBook: Acumen now includes a seamless sync with risk registers developed in Deltek RiskBook. A collaborative, team-based approach to identifying and scoring project risks, RiskBook easily pushes risk register information, including team polls on risk scores, into Acumen Risk to be incorporated into the schedule or cost risk analysis. This sync greatly improves the reliability of risk-adjusted schedules by incorporating team expertise and consensus into the analysis.
- Integration with Safran Project – Safran users can now take advantage of the robust schedule diagnostic and reliability improvement functionality of the Deltek Acumen suite with the new capability to import Safran schedules.
