Deacom, Inc., the producer of the DEACOM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software System for mid-to-large size process manufacturers, has been named a top supply chain solution provider in the 2012 edition of Supply & Demand Chain Executive‘s Top 100 Awards.
Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 100 Awards recognize the supply chain’s 100 most innovative projects of 2012. This year’s 11th annual listing of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 highlights the industry’s “100 Great Supply Chain Projects” that have had a significant impact on the company’s going through the implementations.
The projects cited in this year’s “100” article and online at SDCExec.com put the spotlight on successful and innovative transformation projects that are delivering bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the different functions that comprise the supply chain. The projects featured serve as a roadmap for supply chain executives looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations.
“We are thrilled that our solution and team were recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive for their contributions to Independent Beverage’s supply and demand chain project. Deacom’s unique ERP philosophy allowed our implementation and development teams worked together to blend Independent Beverage’s industry leading planning and forecasting tools into the DEACOM solution,” stated Scott Deakins, Software Operations Manager at Deacom. “We hope that our integrated solution will continue to help Independent Beverage and other companies lead the process manufacturing industry in supply and demand chain management.”
Deacom was recognized for its DEACOM ERP Software’s contribution to North Carolina based beverage manufacturer, Independent Beverage Co. Independent Beverage implemented DEACOM to integrate their production, warehouse management and unique planning requirements. DEACOM is a single, comprehensive ERP system built to meet the requirements of process manufacturers without the need for expensive customizations. Instead, DEACOM’s scalable software model evolves to meet the operational requirements of both the customer and their industry.
“Deacom offered an all-inclusive solution that fit our current corporate structure, unlike other software providers that offered partial solutions with “bolt on” pieces to accomplish everything we were looking for in an ERP solution. Deacom has provided us with a comprehensive ERP solution and their experienced implementation team has helped us improve our overall business processes to gain production efficiency,” stated Angela Farman, the Controller at Independent Beverage.
