Acumatica — now available on CenturyLink Cloud — celebrated Acumatica 5.0 with a party at CenturyLink Field, the backyard of reigning Super Bowl champions the Seattle Seahawks.
“Seattle is Acumatica’s home, and we couldn’t think of a better place than CenturyLink Field to celebrate our launch,” said Acumatica CEO Jon Roskill. “Our latest product is faster and more feature-rich than ever before, and we want to showcase it in front of our community of partners and customers. We’re planning to make an even bigger splash in the area this year.”
In addition to the organization-wide access and powerful tools that Acumatica is known for, the new version also features mobile apps for iPhone and Android, a new B2B portal, and integration with Microsoft Exchange. The updated platform and cleaner user interface make this offering better, faster, and stronger than anything the company has previously released.
“Acumatica’s ongoing investments in usability and the flexibility to enable business users to adapt the application to meet business needs make it a strong ERP solution for small and medium-sized businesses,” said Rebecca Wettemann, VP of Research at Nucleus Research. “Version 5.0 takes a significant step forward in delivering value by driving greater productivity through mobile access and Microsoft Office integration and by adding other features that bring Acumatica users closer to their customers.”
Richard Duffy, Acumatica’s Product Evangelist and VP of Partner Strategy and Enablement, said: “Acumatica 5.0 is the culmination of months of hard work from our product team to put our most powerful cloud ERP software version in the hands of our partners and customers. Not only will Acumatica 5.0 help our partners sell, it will also help unlock the business potential of customers around the world.
“Customers of all sizes are asking for the power of Acumatica at a price point that is achievable for their businesses. With Acumatica 5.0, we’ve simplified our offerings with a range of editions that cover all business sizes and make sure that they can get the full power of our latest product with a total cost of ownership they’re comfortable with.”
Ehren Dimitry, President and CEO of AME Corporation, said: “Acumatica is a breath of fresh air in the ERP community and is changing the whole landscape in favor of customers. Everyone else has an old-school mindset, even NetSuite, which has remained stuck in a traditional ERP pricing model.”
Acumatica sells exclusively through its network of Value-Added Resellers worldwide. Customers such as Ruben Lops from Greenwich Avenue Solar Car Wash are already noticing the latest improvements.
“Acumatica has streamlined our Accounts Receivable with automatic customer invoice and statement notifications,” said Lops, based in Stamford, Connecticut.
The launch party at the iconic sporting arena featured appearances by Seahawks Super Bowl champs Zach Miller and Sidney Rice as well as Emmy-winning newsman Steve Pool. The festivities will continue around the world as Acumatica kicks off a series of launch activities in six Asian cities, starting in Cambodia tomorrow.
“We’re thrilled to have these local celebrities joining us for the release of Acumatica 5.0,” said Roskill. “Like the rest of the city, we’re big fans! We like to think Acumatica’s trajectory parallels the incredible rise of the Seahawks. Together with its partners, Acumatica is on track to make 2015 its biggest growth year ever: in sales, in partner recruiting, and in brand awareness.”
